Our Commitment
NumeraVeda is offered freely to all people of the world. We do not display advertisements, charge fees, or sell data of any kind. This policy explains, in plain terms, how the app handles information.

What Information the App Uses
When you use NumeraVeda, you may enter:

A name (your own, or the name of a nation, organisation, company, or market you're curious about)
A date (birth date or founding date)
Optionally, a birth time and birth place (city, or latitude/longitude and time-zone offset) — used only to calculate a Vedic astrology chart
Optionally, life-event dates and numbers (such as a marriage date, a house number, or a vehicle number) and the birth dates of family members or associates — used only to calculate the optional "Life Events" analysis
All of this information is processed entirely on your device. It is never transmitted to NumeraVeda's developer, to Anthropic, to Google, or to any third party. There are no servers involved in calculating your results — every number and every astrological position is computed locally using on-device logic. The app makes no network connections to perform its calculations.

Local Storage
If you choose to use the "Save to History" feature, your past readings are stored only in your device's local app storage (AsyncStorage). This data:

Never leaves your device
Is not backed up to any cloud service by the app itself
Can be cleared at any time from the History screen
Is automatically removed if you uninstall the app
No Account, No Sign-In
NumeraVeda does not require account creation, sign-in, email, or phone number. There is no user identity tied to your usage.

No Advertising, No Analytics, No Tracking
The app does not include:

Advertising SDKs (no AdMob, no third-party ad networks)
Analytics or crash-reporting SDKs that transmit personal data
Any form of cross-app tracking or advertising identifiers
Permissions
NumeraVeda requests no special device permissions. It does not request INTERNET access, location, contacts, camera, or storage permissions beyond what the operating system provides by default for app-local storage.

Children's Privacy
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because no information is ever transmitted off-device.

Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published within the app and at this same location, with a revised "Last updated" date.
